Below are some dates to pop into your diaries for exciting events happening at TDR this year! These events are your chances to gain exclusive discounts and see some of next years styles ALL in store for one weekend only.

What is a Trunk Show?

A trunk show is your chance to view (usually) ALL of the next seasons collection, also known as either a ‘first look’ or ‘preview’ weekend. This means designers will ship new collection gowns into store for one weekend only and is your chance, as a bride, to be one of the first to try and order these style gowns. (P.s. there is usually an exclusive discount for these gowns too!). You will still be able to try on our usual store collection (over 400 gorgeous gowns) so the new collection gowns will just be a bonus!

So, our advice is, if you like the look of a particular designer, look out for the next trunk show date and get booked in!

Enzoani 2022 Trunk Show

20th August – 22nd August 2021

We are super excited to announce the date of this year’s Enzoani Trunk Show: August 21st – 23rd – perfect for the fashion-forward bride. This designer has become one of TDR’s most popular for their innovative style, quality and fit and finish truly like no other! Mori Lee Trunk Show

4th September – 5th September 2021

This is your chance to have exclusive access to the new Fall 2021 Mori Lee collection before they officially arrive in stores!! TDR Macmillan Accessories Night

Macmillan is a charity close to our hearts so every year, we try to do all we can to raise money for an incredible charity, who provide support to people when they truly need it. TDR support the annual Macmillan Coffee morning every single year, without fail! However, this year we have decided to do things a little differently and raise money by hosting a TDR Accessories evening!

So, for any TDR Brides searching for the perfect accessories to complete their bridal look, this is the perfect night for you! For one night only, we will have a large selection of sample accessories from all our designers for our brides to purchase with an exclusive discount PLUS a donation to Macmillan.

No appointment needed, so pop the date in your diary and we shall see you there!!

Halesowen based bridal store The Dressing Rooms Bridal has scooped Best Bridal Retailer England at the Wedding Industry Awards 2018 (TWIA) beating off competition from seven other companies.

The event held at Café De Paris in Piccadilly London celebrates the best suppliers in the wedding industry, with each award, voted for by a panel of industry experts, including journalists and retail experts.

The Dressing Rooms Bridal made it through to the finals in November 2017 after making the shortlist from votes and feedback from customers of its West Midlands based stores on a variety of aspects of the business including product, experience and service.

The award follows on from a successful 2017 for the Bridal company who won “Best Bridal Retailer” at The Bridal Buyer Awards 2017.

Owner of The Dressing Rooms, Rebecca Baddeley said;

“We are delighted to win Best Bridal Retailer for England at the Wedding Industry Awards. This award is the hardest, and fairest in the whole wedding industry, as it is voted for by actual brides, who have to answer an extensive survey on all aspects of our business. Oh wow!  Just not back down to earth yet but got to tell you our news!

We have just won The Wedding Industry Awards Best Bridal Retailer West Midlands for THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING!!

This Award is like no other. It’s tough, really tough…It’s voted for by our brides, only those married within the last year, who have genuinely been a TDR Bride.

So no, “click and vote” here folks, this is the real deal.  Every bride has to register with TWIA, give us marks out of 10 on many different aspects of our service and then make comments at the end. We don’t get to see these comments or votes until the very end, after the winners in each category have been announced, all we know is how many votes we’ve had and who they’re off.

Because we have won the West Midlands heat, we are off to London in January 2018 for the National Finals! Last year we got Highly Commended in the National Finals so we’re keeping everything crossed for 2018!

We never forget though that none of this would be possible without our amazing brides who trust us with the most importance dress they will ever wear, and for that we are truly grateful.

It’s that time of the year again! We are off to meet thousands of new brides at the NEC Birmingham for The National Wedding Show.

We just love this show because there’s so much variety and choice, not just for wedding dresses, but cakes, venues, wedding rings, bridesmaids, Mother of The Bride Outfits, Prosecco Bars, Wedding Stationery, Room Settings, florists, you name it… it’s there!

We usually take around 150 dresses from our new collections, so you can be sure to see our newest designs. Brides often say we’re one of the nicest stands to visit as we’re all so happy doing our thing!

We will be on the catwalk with our amazing exclusive NOYA Collection by Rikki Dalal too, so you can really see what all the hype is about.

We don’t expect you to buy at the show, you need to come into store and see what we’re all about before you part with your hard-earned cash. We are proud RBA members, assuring you of our expertise and business acumen too, so you know you are in safe hands.
